Give every user a private inbox they actually own.
For years, the default option for email has been US-hosted services that treat your personal correspondence as an advertising asset. Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo built empires on the back of your inbox data.
Tramovio exists because users deserve an alternative that respects GDPR by default - not as a compliance checkbox, but as a founding principle.
We built Transition Mode because the single biggest barrier to switching is fear of losing email. We eliminated that fear. Now switching is safe, gradual, and entirely on your schedule.
Privacy by default
We built privacy into Tramovio from the first line of code - not as an afterthought. No scanning, no profiling, ever.
EU data sovereignty
Your data never leaves the EU. We are incorporated, operated, and hosted entirely in Europe.

Our story
Built in Europe, for European privacy
We started Tramovio because we experienced the same problem ourselves. Switching email providers felt risky — years of messages, contacts and habits tied to a single address. And every alternative meant trusting another US-based platform with private correspondence.
We are a small team of software engineers and privacy advocates building from within the EU. Our data stays in Europe, our business model is a subscription (not your inbox), and our goal is to make privacy the default — not a premium upsell.

What we believe
Email is personal infrastructure.
Your inbox contains medical records, financial statements, legal documents, and intimate conversations. It deserves the same care as your home address.
Convenience shouldn't come at the cost of sovereignty.
The EU has the strongest data protection laws in the world. Your email should be hosted where those laws actually apply - and where they can't be overridden by foreign governments.
Migration fear is a product design failure.
People stay with Gmail not because they love it - but because switching feels risky. We fixed that with Transition Mode. The technical barrier to switching should be zero.
We grow when users trust us.
Our business depends entirely on subscriptions. The moment we betray your trust - scanning emails, selling data, running ads - we lose everything. Privacy is our business model, not a sacrifice.
