Who we are

Tramovio is an EU-hosted email platform incorporated and operated in the European Union. All user data — including email content, metadata, and account information — is stored exclusively on servers located within the EU and subject to GDPR.

We provide email hosting and a guided migration tool that helps people move away from US-based providers. We do not display advertising, and we do not sell or share user data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Government and legal data requests

As of the date of this report, Tramovio has received zero requests from any government authority or law enforcement agency for access to user data. We have never been served with a court order, subpoena, national security letter, or any other legal instrument requiring us to disclose user information.

If we were to receive such a request, our policy is as follows:

  • We will scrutinise any request for legal validity before complying.
  • We will provide only the minimum information required by a valid legal order.
  • We will notify affected users unless legally prohibited from doing so.
  • We will challenge overly broad or unlawful requests.

Tramovio will update this report within 30 days of any change to the statistics above.

What data we store

To operate your inbox, Tramovio stores:

  • Account data — your @tramovio.eu email address, username, and a recovery email address used only for password resets.
  • Email content — the body and metadata of emails you receive at your @tramovio.eu address. Emails you choose to archive or delete are removed from our active database.
  • Migration configuration — your current provider and forwarding address, stored to power the migration checklist feature.

We do not track browsing behaviour, use third-party analytics, or serve targeted advertising.

Infrastructure and data residency

All Tramovio infrastructure runs within the European Union. We use:

  • Supabase (EU region) — for database and authentication.
  • Brevo (EU) — for transactional email delivery (password resets only).
  • Cloudflare — for inbound email routing via Cloudflare Email Workers.

Your email content is never processed or stored outside the EU. We do not use US-based cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for primary data storage.

Privacy by design

Privacy is not an afterthought at Tramovio — it is the reason we exist. Our technical and operational choices are guided by the following principles:

  • Data minimisation — we collect only what we need to run your inbox.
  • No advertising — your data is never used to profile you or sell you to advertisers.
  • No third-party tracking — we do not embed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tools.
  • GDPR compliance — you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data at any time.
  • Warrant canary — the absence of any disclosure in this report confirms we have never been subject to a secret legal order for user data.
